How to read the score

85–100 · Passes the eye test
flow, ink, and era all look consistent in the photo
60–84 · Worth a closer look
minor or unverifiable concerns — compare exemplars before bidding
Below 60 · Significant concerns
a specific red flag is visible — walk away or demand an LOA
A screening opinion from one photo — never authentication. Before real money moves, verify with PSA, JSA, or Beckett.

Should you grade or should you hold?

The Grading Room pulls real sold prices at raw, PSA 9, and PSA 10, weighs your cost basis and the grading fee, and gives you the math — not a guess.

grading fee $
read it:

How the math works

We pull last-year sold medians at three tiers. Net-if-graded = tier median − grading fee − your cost.
The wildcard is always the grade it actually gets — the verdict tells you what grade the card needs to earn to be worth the fee.
Market read, not a promise. Condition is yours to judge — the Eye Test can help with the autograph side.

Ask about any card — any sport, any era, signed or not — in plain English. The Appraiser reads real sold listings and answers like a dealer who just checked the books.
